Dr also said to pick up some Flintstones type vitamins and take one in am and one in evening. I have my first OBGYN appt on 9/25 (2 days after I turn 35). She said they will see me and probably send me to an Endocrinologist too. I have high blood pressure and diabetes. My regular Dr changed my meds and says that the OBGYN will change them more probably. We went to DHHS and told them, nothing much changes other than with my MaineCare I will not have a co-pay (have had to pay $3 per appt and rx). Have a WIC appointment on 10/1.I still feel crappy.
Oh yeah, based on what we think my last period was, she gave me a due date of 5/15. She said I'm about 5 1/2 weeks along as of now.
I called my mother - she still lives in FL (I'm in Maine - duh). She didn't seem too happy. She told me that it's my life and I have to deal with it. This coming from a person that told me (as she was playing with my oldest daughter at 6 months old) I should've had an abortion. I was hoping she would be more .... anything other than how she acted.
This will be DH's 1st baby and my 4th.
I'm not unhappy. I am scared.
